I wrote a post yesterday about a very cool event that happened to me and I want to touch on that again today.

I have read most of the posts on www.alovelyplacetoland.com, well most of the family posts…the crafts are very pretty and Amanda is, without a doubt, a very talented person, but they just aren’t my thing.

Yesterday, I tried to write what the event actually was…what happened and how it touched me, because it did. We’ll have the pizza one night for dinner and thank that happy little family for the heart burn sure to follow; however, I’ll keep the little clothes pin and the little note until I die.

My wife, son and I headed to Lexington tonight to do some shopping after a stressful day and while she was looking at make up, I took Evan over to toys and while there, I received a HUGE surprise.

I noticed a couple pass me and there was a really cute baby sitting in the buggy, I didn’t think anything about it and I continued looking at toys with my son. I looked up and the couple had returned and the husband was walking  up to me, catching me quite off guard.

Our little side project – Commons 4 Kids – has gotten some national attention and we are getting emails from all over the country, so we decided to move it to it’s new home – Common4Kids.org to keep anyone else from stealing the name/domain. Head on over and donate some cards!

It seems SharkysWorld.com has been thrown into “national attention” thanks to my Commons 4 Kids program; and again, I’m a bit unsure of how I feel about all of the attention.

An article was written about the card program for the Advocate Messenger and then someone from the Associated Press added to it and sent it across the nation…it’s even been on the USA Today website, and I wonder if anyone realized I was an atheist, if it would be getting all of this attention?
